The plant’s facilities have been constantly modernised and upgraded to ensure the organisation retains its position as an efficient industry leader at the cutting edge of technology and food safety.

The Plant is recognised as an industry leader in meat processing and is held in high esteem by its peers. It is accredited by the Meat Safety Quality Assurance (MSQA) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) quality systems and is one of the few meat processing plants in Australia with an AUS-Meat A+ rating.

Government vetenarians examine livestock prior to slaughter for health and fitness. Cattle are also washed to reduce hide contamination and to ensure carcass are dressed hygienically.

The processing plant has the capability to process 4000 bovines per week, this modern Plant processes both Beef and Veal. Australian’ quarantine guidelines are ranked alongside the most stringent in the world.

Recent history has demonstrated that product traceability is an essential and vital component in total product management.

The processing plant assigns an individual identification number at the time of slaughter to each animal. This number becomes the mechanism for tracking the carcass through processing, government inspection, chilling and fabrication. This creates an unbreakable information trail from producer to processor to global markets.

The plant maintains a secure segregation system for carcasses intended for the Halal Markets. The segregation system ensures compliance with the above markets.
